This little champ just cried himself through his first few baby steps! These early developmental milestones significantly shape the posture we carry ourselves with today! On average, babies typically begin to lift their heads up by one month, can roll and sit by six months, crawl by eight months, stand by ten months, and begin to walk between 12-18 months. Watching this little angel cry while he takes these triumphant steps can serve as a reminder to us of the significant role periods of stress can have on our overall growth and expansion as human beings. The next time you feel stressed, kindly remind yourself: “I understand I am not a mess but a deeply feeling person in a messy world. I explain that now, when someone asks me why I cry, I say, for the same reason I laugh so often, because I am paying attention.” With that in mind, let’s make the intention to find purpose each time we find ourselves in this little guys shoes.
