How was Einstein’s Brain Different?
Eight hours after Albert Einstein died in 1955, his brain was removed from his corpse and has since been studied.
Einstein’s brain had unusually thick connections between the corpus callosum. This is the super highway that connects the two halves of your brain and allows your right and left hemispheres to communicate. High connections in the prefrontal cortex (abstract thought), visual cortex (vision) and parietal lobes (senses & language) were also noted.
Could it be that the secret to the next level of intelligence is contained in the coming together of the right and the left halves of the brain?
