Uplifting the women in our lives can elevate entire families and create positive overall energy for a household. As the saying goes, “someone who feels appreciated, will always do more than what is expected of them” – the same can be applied to the women we love when working to build a loving home and life together. An important way to make the women feel uplifted is by making them feel heard. Listening to their thoughts, feelings and emotions during moments of joy and stress, will provide a sense of security and support that human beings naturally seek from one another. This can be done through pure and non-judgemental communication including statements like “I am here for you and understand why you would feel that way” or through asking of open-ended questions such as “what makes you feel that way?“. Making the effort to understand why a woman feels the way she does through an open-minded approach, demonstrates sincerity in your commitment towards loving her.
Encouraging the woman you love to pursue her dreams can play an important role in making her feel uplifted. Be it personal or professional goals, creating an environment of support so she can work towards her own aspirations in life will help to create necessary balance in the relationship. The first step to this involves understanding what her goals are – spend time listening to your partner’s dreams and goals for herself & take intitiative in helping her to manifest them. This can be done in many ways, e.g. taking responsibility of her personal errands one day so she can spend that time focusing on her craft; accompanying her to that fitness class she has been wanting to join; or even a few simple words of encouragement that will push her to take that next step in her career that she has been hesitating to take! A wholesome relationship is one in which both partners feel empowered to pursue their dreams – creating this safe haven for your loved one to exercise her personal and professional desires freely will help her to be the best version of herself, while sending positive messages to future generations about what a balanced relationship should entail.
Small gestures, no matter how insignificant they may seem, can go a long way in making your woman feel loved and valued. This can be in the form of a gift, her favorite food, a love letter or even a hug to show her that you have been thinking about her and value her persence in your life. If she is feeling down, compliments and consistent displays of affection will help to boost her self – esteem while while also lifting her up. Thanking her through active displays of gratitude will make her feel appreciated and less likely to feel overwhelmed. This can include volunteering to cook dinner on her turn to cook; or taking on some extra chores at home to make her workload easier during times of stress. A relationship is about sharing life and its wonderful experiences together, playing an active role in sharing responsibilities at home with your significant other can be the first step towards acheiving this.
As her partner in purpose, it is important to remember that your attitude towards her can help mould the direction of the entire relationship! You will be surprised by the lengths a happy woman will go to show you how much she loves you. Exercising mindfulness in this regard will not only create more harmony in your relationship with her, but manifest a healthier and more harmonious family life overall. With this in mind, let’s use this as motivation to speak love and life into the women we love.
